These new speakers deliver Denon Professional’s superlative sound and renowned reliability to a wide range of specialized requirements.

DN-108LF Ceiling-Mounted Subwoofer

In most commercial/industrial settings, such as shops, restaurants, offices, hotels and houses of worship, placing a conventional box-type subwoofer on the floor is not merely impractical, it can also violate local safety codes. Yet for full-range sound, a subwoofer is essential. Recognizing this dilemma, Denon Professional offers their innovative new DN-108LF ceiling-mounted subwoofer.

It delivers exceptionally accurate, articulate low frequency reinforcement while easily meeting commercial requirements for fire-resistance and suitability for multiple unit installation. The DN-108LF features a single 8 ¼-inch long-excursion, low frequency driver in a ported enclosure.

It features a metal “can” rear enclosure, which provides a fire barrier behind the speaker to meet local commercial fire codes. It also serves as the woofer’s enclosure to optimize bass tuning and low-frequency response. Mounting is accomplished via the familiar “dog leg” bracket design. The speaker has 70/100-volt transformers to facilitate multiple unit installations without the impedance and level-matching concerns of paralleled transformerless speakers.

DN-205W

Denon Professional recognizes that there is a need in the professional sound space for quality sound in a wall-mounted configuration, such as with flatscreen TVs in a restaurant or large conference room. Such TVs do not have adequate on-board sound capability to address the patrons in these large or noisy environments. The Denon Professional DN-205W wall speaker is the perfect solution for these all-too-common scenarios.

The DN-205W is designed for commercial installations and is compatible with 70V/100V/8Ω systems. It’s a 2-way speaker with two 5 ¼-inch carbon fiber woofers for superior bass and mid-range reproduction, and a 1-inch silk dome aluminum tweeter for smooth high frequencies.

Along with its wide-range response, the 205W also features a 2-position high-frequency switch for additional tonal control. The paintable, magnetic grille enables the DN-205W to completely blend into its surroundings for a professional, clean installation.
