Denon Professional is proud to announce the introduction of three new models, adding to its range of 500 and 700 Series commercial installation products. Launching at Infocomm 2013, the new products are the DN-700R Network SD/USB Recorder, the DN-500R SD/USB Recorder and the DN-501C CD/Media Player. All new models utilize the latest Denon Professional technology to deliver the highest standards in audio quality and reliability, allowing AV installation professionals to replace traditional devices with superior solid state hardware in the widest range of applications.

Taking its place as the company’s flagship recording product, the DN-700R Network SD/USB Recorder is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding applications. Offering recording to and between SD card and USB storage drives, the DN-700R is fully-featured and includes extensive network capabilities. Versatile connectivity includes balanced XLR analog audio and AES/EBU digital I/O, as well as unbalanced analog and SPDIF. For wired remote control, RS-232c and Parallel GPIO are supported, and the unit can also be operated with Denon Professional’s RC-F400S ‘Hot Start’ serial remote controller.

For integration into complex installation scenarios, the DN-700R allows network connection via DLNA/UPnP, alongside powerful Web/IP control and direct FTP access. Archiving via network can be performed automatically or at pre-programmed times. Scheduling is also supported, as is NTP (Network Timer Protocol).

The DN-700R is expected to ship in October ‘13.

For recording applications where network capabilities are not required, the new DN-500R SD/USB Recorder offers the professional quality of the flagship DN-700R recorder in a compact, cost-effective package. With no compromise in core functionality, the DN-500R features SD card and USB storage media slots and can record at WAV or MP3 quality levels. Comprehensive professional I/O includes balanced XLR analog connections as well as AES/EBU and coaxial digital. Like the DN-700R, the DN-500R can be controlled by RS-232c, Parallel GPIO and Denon Professional’s RC-F400S ‘Hot Start’ serial remote controller.

The DN-500R is expected to ship in October ‘13.

Answering the need for a compact player with professional features, the new 1RU DN-501C offers versatile playback options from CD and USB storage in addition to iDevice connectivity. Perfect for any installation that requires music playback via an easy-to-use and fully controllable device, the DN-501C features professional XLR analog and digital output connections. The DN-501C also features pitch control of +/-16% via Denon Professional’s Pitch Control App, ideal for applications where ‘on-the-fly’ changes to pitch and tempo are desirable. Remote control is enabled via RS-232c, Parallel GPIO and the included IR controller.

The DN-501C is expected to ship in October ‘13.
